Mattifies great! I use it after sunscreen to reduce the oiliness from sunscreen and it makes my face matte without any downsidesWould not recommend using just this though. It’s very drying, so make sure to use moisturizer beforehand

Not Mattifying for Me, But So Silky!
While this did not create the matte effect I was hoping for (I felt like my skin somehow was more oily by the end of the day?), it is very moisturizing! I was astounded with how silky smooth my skin felt after applying a thin layer of this primer. I did feel like it helped to hide my pores a little bit, and as stated it did moisturize quite nicely.Perhaps I had too high hopes for a singular use of a primer, but it did not achieve the mattifying effect I had hoped for. I am no makeup expert, so it may also be in part user error. The great thing about this brand is that it is inexpensive enough that I feel comfortable using the product in a trial and error with makeup. It also did not set off any allergies, and I have quite sensitive skin.All in all, it did not fulfill the purpose that I had hoped for but it is still worth trying! For the price, I would even just use it as a moisturizer since it did a really nice job of making my skin feel silky smooth!

Watch if you have sensitive skin
Very runny compared to what I expected and cation if you have sensitive skin. I used it a couple times and noticed my skin peeling off, gave it a couple weeks and changed nothing in my routine. Tried the primer again and now my face is peeling AGAIN! I usually use Avon primer and never once had a problem until I used this. No burning or any other weird sensations, I thought the product was flaking off at first but nope it’s my actual skin coming off

After reading several reviews I was worried about the primer, I thought, had they changer the formula? I have used this primer for several years and it is not oily at all. I mix 2 parts primer with 1 part foundation and apply with my fingers till there is no more moisture and it feels powdery, stop right away or the powder will start rolling away and then you will have to redo the whole thing. It has worked well for my very oily T zone. I would not do my make up without this primer. This one is identical to my previous ones. I do not understand what some of the comments are all about. Thank you.

Je ne sais pas si il hydrate car ds la routine je met tjrs une base hydratante avant celui ci qui par contre pour matifie il est génial jen mets depuis deux semaines plus ma poudre par dessus et mon makeup tiens bien vraiment ..dailleurs je compte repasser commande

Lo amo… llevo casi un mes usándolo y lo amo. Soy de piel muy grasa pero este producto me deja la piel como terciopelo!!! No se hace grumos y fija muy bien el corrector, bases o maquillajes que le pongas después… Lo he usado para los ojos por igual y ha funcionado. Totalmente recomendado
