Please beware!
I was looking forward to trying out this tool for the “exfoliation” benefits, and of course to remove the peach fuzz along my jawline. Post menopause, I have several coarse hairs that grow on my chin. I’ve used an epilator device to remove unwanted hair for 13 years. However, I liked the idea of expediting the removal of dead skin cells in hopes that my skin care regime would be more beneficial. My first thought was that shaving facial hair would surely make it grow back coarse and masculine. So I read all the seller information provided before ordering. I was assured that my hair would not grow back coarse. Then, I focused on product reviews which were mostly positive. Silly me, I trusted the product information provided and made the purchase. I used it for the first time and it was just “okay.” Holding the tool at an angle so as not to scratch my skin was a challenge. It did not feel smooth as with a nice razor. But my face was smooth and hair free… until… late the next day, at which time I happened to touch my chin. Holy Toledo! It felt like a man’s 5 o’clock shadow. The lower aspect of my chin was literally covered in coarse hair. I had to wait one maddening day to allow enough growth to use my epilator and to tweeze the ‘whiskers’ that the epilator missed. In addition, I had several coarse hairs above my upper lip that had not been there before. It seems as though some users of this tool have had great success with it. I just felt compelled to let you know, the product description should be honest and state that some users may develop more hair growth than before and that the hair may be considerably more disturbing than the previous peach fuzz. I regret this purchase. Please consider investing in an epilator instead. It takes care of facial hair that will not grow back for several days. Use glycolic pads or a good facial exfoliator instead of trying to shave off dead skin cells. Waste of money for me.

Meh… doesn’t trim peachfuzz easily
I read other reviews that spoke about difficulty trimming facial hair. My experience with this tool is that it was okay for dermaplaning after struggling a great deal to remove fine facial hair. I really had to repeatedly work the same area just to trim light peachfuzz. I will repurchase the Panasonic Women’s Facial Hair Remover and Eyebrow Trimmer, which I’ve used over the last 2 decades, only replacing once after dropping it, and never having issues with the blade trimming my hairline fuzz. I will try the SIMA for dermaplaning my skin after I receive and use my Panasonic trimmer. Not sure it’s all that…

Great Dermaplane results
I really like the results from this sonic demaplane. While I use it infrequently, I always find that it exfoliates quite a bit of skin, honestly way more than I would have ever expected before I began using it! After use I find my skin is softer and moisturizer seems so much more effective.did have a small issue with the device, however their customer service team was able to resolve the issue quite rapidly.

Amazing! I wish I had done a video on how good this was. I suffer from fair Peach fuzz and chin hair. From where I pluck, I’ve also got short harsh hairs. This got rid of them all, and has made my skin feel so smooth. I started on my head and got a nick, but that was my fault as I didn’t hold my skin taught! Oops! Great instructions. I have sensitive skin, felt a little burning afterwards but nothing major. Excellent, sent previous one back (different make and model) as didn’t do anything!

Rather spend an extra $100 and get a different brand. These blades don’t last long and very finicky as the angle has to be exactly right for it to work.
