Surprisingly wonderful. It looks like it might be too much in the bottle but gives the perfect shine under makeup. No weird texture to it, no smell, (I am super sensitive to scents), and makeup blends seamlessly over it. Felt like it hydrated my skin as well!

Thick, Strong Orange Fragrance
I have used another MyChelle product, a sunscreen, and liked it a lot. Therefore, I was delighted when I was able to order this moisturizer with peptides, Vitamin C, HA, and more. The peachy colored whipped cream came in a heavy glass jar in an attractive box with a modern vibe. It had settled in shipping and the jar did not appear to be full.Having used it for five days, morning and night, I am less impressed with it than with the MyChelle sunscreen and wish that I had better things to say about it. While I like the fact that this whipped product contains the ingredients I look for in a moisturizer and more, the consistency of the cream is too thick for my liking. While it is somewhat lightweight in the container, as a whipped cosmetic can be expected to be, it is thick upon application.After I have applied it, I am aware of having it on my face because it doesn’t absorb as quickly as if it were sheerer; eventually it does absorb, however, and then I am aware of it as a kind of barrier coating. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but I am normally not aware of my moisturizer after application and it feels odd to me. It could be that this thicker cream delivers nutrients better than a thin serum, but I prefer a silky-smooth feel to a thicker barrier feel. It is perhaps a personal taste issue.Also, fragrances are a hit and miss addition to cosmetics; we all experience them differently and have various associations with them. I am sensitive to some but do not react to many. I don’t have any negative skin reaction to the scent in this moisturizer, but I don’t enjoy it. This MyChelle moisturizer has a distinctly orange smell to it, but not a fresh, citrusy orange even though a statement on the box says that no artificial fragrances are used. It is more like a Creamsicle orange to me. I think that this smell makes the product seem “cheap.” While I will not purchase more of this brightening skin moisturizer, I do think that MyChelle makes quality products. To my tastes, this is not one of them.

Very glowy!
They weren’t kidding when they named it “illuminating”! It definitely has a very glowy effect! I see people all the time rocking the dewy look but I’ve realized it just isn’t for me. I’m too set in my “Matte” ways at my age. I ended up giving this to my teen daughter and it looks gorgeous on her! The formula glides on smooth and blends out nicely leaving a touch of color and a ton of glowy illumination! If that’s what you are looking for, this product delivers!

My New Secret Potion
I love the instant glow that I get from this illuminating serum! I also love the dropper applicator that gives me control over how much product I dispense. Having used this over the last couple of months, my go-to way to use this is to add a few drops to my palm along with spf moisturizer and then apply to my face. On the days when I feel that I look tired, I add a few extra drops to brighten up my appearance even more – and it’s a mind trick, but I can almost feel an instant mood lift after I put this on!
