Great price, smells nice and feels really light for an oil. I use it all over and have used in my hair and eyebrows so it’s not oily or greasy. Start out with a small amount to condition your ends or to smooth frizzies!

This rose oil is everything. It exceeds expectations. For years, I’ve purchased Jamaican Mango & Lime brand, in various scents and varieties. That oil is thick like syrup chilled in the freezer and heavy. No doubt good quality, but not always what you want in your hair (and soaking your pillow, staining your clothes) and definitely not on your skin. The absorption isn’t great. Not so with this oil! I was amazed at the texture — it’s dark, medium thick (castor with other oils) and comes with a little stopper, which makes application to your scalp and palms so easy. The smell is authentically old rose (take this from a years-long gardener of many antique variety, highly scented, once blooming roses). It absorbs well on my skin and moisturizes my hair while not making it feel like a massive grease ball with a bunch of oil sitting on top. I highly recommend this stuff! For the last week or so, I’ve used it daily on my skin after showering; the fragrance is perfume strong for a few hours but still noticeable at an intimate distance after. I did find that I had to reapply in the evening because of noticeable dryness, but that could just be drying air with the change to winter. Depending on your routine, this would be a great shower-before-bed moisturizer and sleep perfume in one! Once this bottle goes, I will get a subscription and not be without it ever, ever. If you’re in the market for a good oil, this is definitely worth the time to try.

Honestly I don’t know. Smells good but maybe too good ? Not as greasy as the other oils and I love it but I am no hair expert and it’s too early to see results as I received it recently. No allergic reaction so far

Better than expected
This Jamaican Black Castor Oil works great with other essential oils that I use on my skin and nails. There is no overpowering smell. I do use it for a hot oil treatment for my hair but I don’t leave it in because it makes my hair very oily. I haven’t used it long enough to see a huge difference but I do know it leaves my hair and my skin very soft.
