Beautiful skincare set; unclear concentration of vitamin C and niacinamide
It is a beautiful skincare set of full-size items coming in a large box (33x23x6 cm).It is designed nicely, most of all I like here that toner, lotion, serum and cream come in solid glass bottles. It can be a nice gift option as a skin-care starter for normal skin.Regarding product formulation,- It seems that 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (EAA) is one of the key vitamin C ingredient here (listed higher), which is good as it it is a more stable derivative of vit C and it doesn’t require low pH, so it can be less irritative for the skin than standard Ascorbic Acid (LAA). It looks like serum and lotion have indeed neutral pH (in my tests). However, I note that lists contain Ascorbic Acid too, and here the questions arise like if it was decided to add highly unstable LAA, which is easily degraded by light, why these products were put into transparent bottles (without light protection)?- There are highlighted several vitamin C related ingredients — EAA, LAA, ascorbyl glucoside, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP), ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate — however, there is no information about their actual concentration in the products to understand if they are any close to the working/functional concentration (e.g. EAA should be above 2%, LAA above 5-10%, MAP >5%, etc).- Niacinamide highlighted in the product title is listed at the end of all list, meaning its concentration is likely less than 1%, whereas it is functional with concentration in the product at least above 3-5%.- In toner and serum, phenoxyethanol is listed pretty high as #3 or #4 in the list, in creams as #7 — it is a known preservative, which is usually capped at 1% in cosmetic products by regulations. It means that all other ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide, extracts etc are present in these products with super low concentration less than 1%, because they all are listed well after phenoxyethanol here.- All items contain fragrance (sort of citrus)- All items contain colorant/dye: CI 15985 (yellow) and CI 19140 (sunset yellow/orange)- Cleanser contains SLES; pH is not neutral, shifted to ~8 (may be too irritated for dry or sensitive skin)- Cream, lotion, and eye cream contain mineral oil, petrolatum, and dimethicone (which may be good for occlusion if you have dry skin, but I do not like much these ingredients)On my combination skin, toner, serum and lotion show nice and fast absorption, no greasiness or tackiness. Products have clear scent and signs of added colorant. No irritation so far, but my skin tolerates 15-20% LAA.

Vital Addition to Skin Regimen
Definitely an improvement in my skin. My skin was very dry from overusing another product. To begin the healing, I was only using the cleanser, moisturizing lotion and face cream. They were not harsh. I saw a difference in a few days.
