Thick product gets all the little lashes
This mascara is a good consistency for my fine lashes. Between the consistency of the mascara and the well-designed brush, it gets all the lashes and provides good coverage for eyelashes. More product can be applied to the lashes with a thicker product than with thinner consistency mascaras, at least in my experience. The mascara makes my thin lashes more prominent and I get some of that lifted look to my eyes that one hopes to get from wearing mascara, but it is not a natural look. It looks like I have a lot of mascara versus a lot of lashes. But I’m not sure that there is any product out there that can do more for me than this product. My lashes have just gotten thinner as I’ve aged. When I was younger and had thicker lashes my lashes looked more natural than this with almost any mascara.This mascara doesn’t run much, yet it’s fairly easily to remove and it does not bother my dry, sensitive eyes. So for me, this mascara is a keeper.

Keeping it simple
I got this mascara for 2 reasons. The first, because it has a bristle brush. There’s nothing that ruins mascara like a hard plastic brush (more like a comb) and I’ve been seeing a lot of these lately in different brands. This wand on the otherhand, has lots of soft bristles so they’ll reach even the tiniest, lightest of eyelashes. The second reason, it’s not waterproof. Look, there’s a time and place for waterproof mascara (wedding, funeral, rainy day, etc), but for me, it’s not meant for daily use. At the end of the day, I want to be able to just wash my face with soap & water, put on some moisturizer, and go to sleep. I don’t have time for eye make-up remover (that always gets in my eyes), then make-up remover pads, only to be washing the oily residue off afterwards with soap & water anyway. I just want to keep it simple. This mascara does that for me – it gives my lashes great coverage and it washes off with ease. The color (dark brown) is nice too. In the attached pics I applied dark brown liquid liner to the water line and upper outer lids, used this Covergirl mascara, followed by an eyelash curler.

I liked the fact that it doesn’t clump and it makes my fine lashes look 100% better. It doesn’t smudge and is easy to apply. I like the fact that it washes off easily. It seems to condition the lashes. I would recommend.

This mascara has a built in lash serum for growth. The colour is good and it makes my lashes look fuller. But the brush is way too big. Smaller brush and it would be perfect.
