Soft skin
I chose this product because it contains peptides, which are a great ingredient to include in any skincare routine—especially for aging skin.Since I had never used an emulsifier before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The texture is creamy, and it does leave the skin feeling slightly tacky at first, which I’ve experienced with other peptide products as well. After it absorbs, though, my skin feels softer and looks more refreshed.Overall, this has been a great addition to my skincare routine, and I would definitely purchase it again.

Inconvenient to dispense, interesting name to put on a product
The APOTHE Botulinum Essence is a lightweight cream that is to be applied immediately after the toner. The product is designed to help with wrinkles and help with skin elasticity. The cream is easy to apply and I do feel like it sits on the skin, leaving it a bit tacky. As part of my evening skin care routine, my skin does feel hydrated the morning after. I haven’t seen any noticable skin tightening, but maybe I will see that over time.The name of this product gave me a moment of pause, however. The name is very similar to botulism, a toxin. The ingredient (Oligopeptide-91 Clostridium Botulinum Polypeptide-1) is a peptide derived from botulinum toxin, commonly used for its wrinkle-reducing properties. This ingredient appears in other products, but I don’t recall seeing botulinum in the product name before.Unlike a lot of other skin care lotions and creams, the bottle does not have a pump mechanism. Instead, it has the type of spout that I usually see on toner bottles – it is a simple recessed spout with a hole in the center. To get the cream out, you need to turn the bottle upside down and shake some of it out. This type of spout works for dispensing toner because toner is thin and easily pours out of the bottle. I don’t think this type of spout works very well for this essence, which has more viscosity than toner. It takes a bit of shaking to extract some of the essence out of the bottle, and it is hard to control how much comes out of the bottle.

Light, hydrating, and great value
I really like the APOTHE Peptide 11 Botulinum Essence Emulsion. The bottle is big, so I use a good amount on my face and neck, it feels light, goes on as a white cream and quickly absorbs, leaving my skin soft, fresh, and well hydrated, not greasy at all.I have sensitive skin and it works great for me, both day and night. I’ve noticed the skin looks more plumped and smoother, and even fine wrinkles seem less noticeable. This cream has a very mild, clean scent. Great cream and price.

Peptide 11 Botulinum Essence Emulsion
This has a very light, lotion-like consistency with a very mild scent. Nothing that shouts perfume to me. The ingredients are really good and hydrating. I went ahead and posted on incidecoder and other than the fragrance, everything lists as great for skin (skin-identical and humectants). I have oily combo skin and I thought I could get away with this as a moisturizer but I had to follow up with a light weight moisturizer because this wasn’t enough for me. So, if you have dry skin, you will definitely need a moisturizer afterwards. Overall good quantity and fair price for a K beauty product.

Effective and hydrating but better for night use
This peptide essence has been working really well for me. I’ve been using it both day and night along with the toner from the same line. The texture is like a typical serum and it doesn’t leave any sticky residue, which I appreciate. It gives my skin a nice hydrating, glowy layer right away and makes it feel plump.
