They work, even on very fine, silky hair
They work!! I have very fine, straight, silky, short hair and did not think these would even stay in my hair. But they did, and they gave me amazing, perfect waves. They’re pretty easy to put in. I only left them in for 2 hours bc I wanted to make sure they worked, and even that amount of time, they worked well.

These Knockoff Curl formers work!
I LOVE using my curl formers for getting my 4a kinky coily hair stretched, smooth, and styled without direct heat. But sometime I do not want my hair perfectly curly and was wondering if there was a mesh tube that would stretch my hair out the same way but with no curl. I know curl formers have waveformers and a “ripple” version, but not wanting to pay curl former prices, I decided to get these.They’re easy to install for me since I’m very practiced through my use of curl formers! This kit comes for 40, so I sectioned my hair into quarters and used 10 for each section. I bought the longest size and they were barely long enough for my hair – my ends peeked out so I had to stretch out each tube so my hair would suck inside more.I only have the one pack of 40 here, so I had to stuff some of the formers, but they’re not as tight as curl formers so they accomodate more hair better, but your hair won’t be as smooth. Tip I’ve learned with curl formers – if you want smoother sections, put less hair into each tube, which means you might need two packs to cover your entire head.The hook on this set sucks, so I had to bring out my long curl former hook to install.Overall, I’m pleased with the results – stretched and smoother hair that didn’t use heat! And I’m not worried about ruining these because I stuff them with too much hair since they’re so cheap (my OG curl formers are not as tight anymore because sometimes I stuff them with too much hair and stretch the tubes out).

I really like these heatless waves. I have thick hair that is about mid back length. For me it didn’t take too long to put all 42 pieces in (39.04 minutes, for those who were wondering an exact time 😉). I used the longest ones, I believe they are 21 inches.I have used the curls for my daughter’s hair so I’ve have quite a bit of practice. First couple of times was a learning curve, but I did get easier and faster. So don’t get discouraged.Here is what I do:1. Brush hair completely: I like using a boar brush personally for my thick, slightly wavy hair.2. Section hair: I section hair from the ears back. Pinning up the top part to be able to work on the lower layer first. Then section the hair for the right and left side. (You can use a hairtie to hold one side while you work on the other if you need to)3. Use a hair spray bottle with water to dampen hair. I also like to use a sea salt spray/texture spray (I use Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe). Then brush hair with a wide tooth comb.4. Load the the plastic rod with the wave curler.5. Grab a section of hair (I do about half of an inch sections for the curlers). I like to twirl the hair around my finger first and then I hook the hair about 1-2 inches from the scalp. (For me, it works better going under the hair with the hook facing up). Then pull the hair threw.6. Repeat steps 4-5 and do the other side.7. Next, section hair by the corner of the scalp/hairline area. (I put the top part in a clip or bun while I’m working on the middle section.8. Repeat steps 2-6.9. Section top: Repeat steps 2-6.If you mess up on one, no worries. It’s very easy to redo it.If you need to remove it to redo that wavy/curl or if you are done just grab the wave curler at the top, pinching it slightly while straightening the curler out and slide it down the hair. The hair easily comes out.My daughter has sleep in the the curlers before and it was easy taking it out the next morning or you can leave them in for a few hours.I hope this helps. 🤗

Good product!
Works amazing! Better than using heat! works especially for my fine short hair, leave it in for an hour at least and it works wonders. I definitely recommend other people as well! Best product I’ve used in a long time and I would recommend a family and friends so worth it and worth the money in price.

Nope!
These take too long to put in your hair. Next to impossible to sleep in and they are no different from going to bed with damp braids….then end result is the same except the braids are more comfortable to sleep in and if you already have little elastics to bind them off, the braids are free.

They work , but you have to put the thinnest of strands of hair into each ‘curler’ , rip hair out and are extremely uncomfortable . Didn’t even get to take a picture as it went straight within a half hour

Definitely not to be slept in unless you’re in a coma and can’t speak up for yourself. Lol! Imagine long wavy spikes sticking out of your head in all directions. Not a bad product but I have shoulder length fine hair and they were difficult to put in without the hook getting tangled in my hair. My hair is dry so I thought they’d be a way to fix my hair without heat. I needed heat to get them to dry and my hair usually dries very quickly—so that defeated the purpose. I left them in quite awhile too. I had to take them out because I couldn’t see through the wave rollers. Haha! Probably good for a special even I guess. It’s also hard to get them all the way to the top of your head so you end up with straight roots and suddenly there’s waves—not gradually which would look okay.
