Great running hat!
Great for runners! Soft, sturdy but not too thick. Warmth is great for early morning runs or cooler weather. Sizing was great with options to pull a pony tail through the hat.

I like wearing high ponytails when I work out. The hat has a weird gap on the top and I ended up cutting a higher hole for my ponytail. The hat itself is great for running in very cold weather. The fabric is breathable and doesn’t require adjusting when running. Overall, the hat is comfortable, great for cold runs, and looks good.

Having two options to run your ponytail through is great!Stays in place when I’m wearing it.The hat doesn’t run up over the ears, when wearing or running in it.If you’re looking for a little more warmth than the head band, get this hat!I had looked for a hat that wasn’t fleece and could *breathe* while running, that hat gives me that.I like that’s there’s reflective material on the front of the hat, having that run around the whole hat would be great! Needing reflection for the sides and back of hat is equally important, if not more than the front.

Not for big heads
I wear a 7 5/8 hat which includes my thick hair. Even in a ponytail and pulled through the cap, the cap is short (almost to ears but not quite). If it doesn’t cover the ears, its worthless when running in the cold. Bummer.

This is the perfect hat for running I’m cold but not freezing weather. I do not overheat. My hair stays out.of my way. I like having two slots for ponytail so I can wear high or low. I have bought 3 different style TrailHeads hats plus a headband. I love them all. The products are high quality and very comfortable.

Best running headgear I’ve ever bought!
I live in FL and don’t often have to buy warm gear, but had a half marathon coming up with predicted freezing temps. This hat was absolutely perfect. Nice and light, but kept my head warm without getting too hot! Super comfortable and doesn’t move!

I run most days, even in the cold, in the rain and in the snow and this hat has been great. I don’t need to wear my hair up in a bun anymore, or try to tuck it all in a normal woolly hat. This hat is warm but breathes well and my head is not over heating anymore even on the warmer winter days. It’s the perfect size for my head; fitted but not annoyingly tight, covers my ears but I can easily fold up the bottom if I need to hear better when I’m on the road. And it has the option for a high or low pony tail. I’ve been using for a couple of months now and I’m really happy with it, it’s also been through the washing machine with no problems. If it was available in some brighter colours I would buy another one…

Very nice, surprisingly warm as essentially a tight fitting polyester skull cap – same as Gore Bike Wear et al – as worn under a bike helmet, but with a brushed lining and plenty of coverage down over the ears as shown. The ponytail hole on this design is two horizontal slots so you can wear a higher or lower ponytail than on some of the other versions of this hat that have a rounder hole (bike helmet notwithstanding).I’d love to see some more colours in this, particularly a hi vis yellow as they do in the reflective headband.
