I’m happy I took the risk, as I was hesitant when I saw some negative feedback due to broken stones during shipment and/or squeaky tools.I’ll update the durability of these once I have had a chance to use them regularly.Tested all for the smoothness on the skin when rolling…nice!Stone rollers (not resin!) At room temperature, these are naturally cool to the touch. Cooling, soothing, bringing extra relief from inflammation and painful, tender areas.I like the texture of the stone. It’s very smooth yet, not a high gloss, glassy, polished finish.It feels finely porous. (grammar?)Squeaky? At times Yes, other times subtle to No noise at all.Depends on the pressure and the fast or slow rolling pace.TIP: I read to fix a squeaky roller, place a drop of oil in the small hole where the roller head connects to the metal bracket.~When I’m hurting & trying to relieve discomfort or remedy an ongoing health issue, a slightly squeaky roller has never really bothered me!On the other hand, if I purchased these with a spa like facial in mind, a squeaky massage might not be as relaxing for some.Note: Speaking from prior stone tool experience, some types can be fragile if you let the tools bang up against each other, keep them separated or at least cushioned if you must store them together.Also: Whether your roller is made of stone, crystal, gemstone, natural sources offer one form or another of benefits to the massage vs man-made glass or resin.I’m happy with this purchase & hopeful I’ll get a lot of use out of the set!
