Smooth and pigmented
This lip liner goes on easily and doesn’t drag. The color is strong and stays put. It keeps my lipstick from bleeding and works well on its own too. Color is just like the picture.

Pros and Cons
Pros:I purchased the Plum shade and I will say that it is a beautiful rich color that looks good with all the lipstick shades that I wear (my lipsticks are mostly plum or wine shades).It is delightfully smooth and creamy making it easy to apply and doesn’t pull at your lips like some “pencil” liners can.The color stays put (minimal smudging on coffee cups, etc.) and it does last a long time (all day unless you wipe it off after eating or drinking).The built-in sharpener is convenient but not, in my opinion, essential with a product this soft and creamy as the point can be “sharpened” back into shape quite easily by using the liner at an angle which actually wastes less of the product.Cons:I have never had a problem with any of my lipsticks feathering and this product advertises that it will not feather so I was not worried about that issue in the least. Well, to my disappointment, this product gave me my first encounter with feathering. I noticed it after only a couple hours of applying. It has continued to be a problem with each application (with various lipstick brands that I use) so I will not use this as a liner again – it does make a nice filler color but, at least for me, I have to keep it away from the margins of my lips or it does feather. (This may not be a problem for younger ladies – I am over 60 – but as it gave me my very first encounter with this issue, I thought it worth mentioning to everyone out there).

Best drugstore lip liner
This is by far the best lip liner out there. Great price, long lasting, and mauve is the perfect darker purple nude-ish color for olive toned skin (doesn’t pull orange like other nudes). My only complaint is sometimes the tip breaks off and product is wasted- but it is still superior to any wooden sharpening or automatic twist up lip pencil on the market and I’ve tried them all. And when I say long lasting I mean 16 hours of wear. I like to use it not just as a liner but to fill all but the middle of my lips as it stays on longer than any lipstick or stain and maybe even helps those grip on/last longer.

Received old product, old design
UPDATE: Still my favorite lip liner. I should have been suspicious when I saw it priced at $1.99. I ordered 3. All 3 were in individual boxes and actually 2 are perfect. Smooth, beautiful color that lasts forever (I full in my whole lip and sometimes skip lipstick completely) However box #3 had the package but nothing in it. Seriously, how can this not be noticed? Thankfully Amazon has great customer service but I’ve had many problems ordering these over the years. I wear 3 or 4 different colors and have had many order problems. Check you orders carefully. I’m not sure if it’s multiple sellers or what the problem is. And be sure to open them all and make sure they aren’t missing the color completely (I received tubes with no lip liner) and that they aren’t old and dried out. Still got a great deal on 3 pink so I changed my 1 star to 3. The product itself, when not old or broken is 10 stars for me. The price is back up now. This is the only lip liner I wear because it literally stays on all day but I’m tired of the problems. Zero quality control.I have ordered this many times in Amazon and this last time received old product. The one in my photo on the right is the new design. The left is what I received today. You should receive what is in the photo. The new design has been around awhile and it’s all one color. If you receive pencil with black on it, it’s old. Ticked off. This is my favorite lip liner that I use daily. Soft and I do my entire lips with it. It lasts all day. But don’t scam me with product that is old and hard. This new design is soft and glides on. This time I got the old, hard pencil. Back to the drugstore. I don’t even think this one is real Revlon

Excellent liner for the price!!
I somehow came across this lip liner while browsing and decided to try it. I have purchased MAC in the past and tired of spending $25 for a liner. This liner is very reasonably priced, so I purchased and LOVE it!! I even subscribed to it. It gets dull but there is a built in sharpener in the end you just pop out and use. So no digging around for a sharpener. Color kind of reminds me of MAC Dervish, it’s a natural lip color. I have already gone thru 2 of them! Lol
