My Go-To Mascara — Perfect Length, Color, and Formula
I really love the Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara in Brown. It gives my lashes beautiful length and lift — honestly better than almost any other mascara I’ve tried. It wears so well throughout the day without smudging or flaking, and it seems to last a long time before needing a replacement.One of my favorite things is that it’s a tubing mascara. If you’ve ever done a side-by-side comparison, you know there’s just nothing quite like tubing formulas — they separate and define lashes perfectly and come off cleanly with warm water at the end of the day.The brown shade is a gorgeous, rich color — softer than black but still gives great definition, which is perfect for those of us who prefer a more natural look. I also love that I can grab it on Amazon, where it’s often available at a great price. This has definitely become a staple in my makeup routine!

The last best gift to your lashes
I have a new forever love. This mascara checks ALL the boxes – easy to apply, the applicator doesn’t collect goop, it layers beautifully, and despite extreme staying power is somehow easy to remove.Even better is that it is readily available in a delicious brown that is warm and flattering in every light and shade of skin. Listen up everyone – I get that you want big fat long lashes and think that the only way to achieve that is with inky black mascara but that is 100% false. Play to your complexion and tone and consider a softer color in an excellent formula.I was a ferocious Dior Show devotee for decades. Then after bouts of dry eye and getting tired of the smudgy wand cleaning, I stopped. When it became impossible to find brown in waterproof, I tried a bunch of cheaper alternatives and eventually stopped wearing it for a few years.Never again. This is my new love – forever and ever.

As a redhead who has spent years looking for the right shade of brown mascara, I am ecstatic to have found this beautiful, rich gel that complements my face, eyes and hair. There’s no clumping and the gel just glides on. I love it and hope it’s around forever because now that I’ve found it I never want to have to “settle” again!!

Almost Perfect
I love the natural look of this mascara so much!! The brown shade is beautiful and it separates lashes SO well. There is no flaking when I only apply to my top lashes, but there is flaking when I put it on my bottom lashes within a few hours. That’s the only negative I can say about this mascara. It’s easy to apply, easy to remove, and doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin around my eyes. Also, it appears to be water resistant!

Great mascara
The product itself is great. It’s not clumpy or sticky. I did have to get use to the wand applicator because it’s curved and I haven’t used a curved applicator in a long time if ever. Overall a great product

Tear proof
I’ve worn this mascara for over a year now and I can’t rave enough. I don’t get raccoon eyes whatsoever and they’ve lasted me through 2 weddings now where lots of tears have been involved. It’s the perfect shade of brown and it applies so nicely without any clumping. It’s a bit pricier than I’d like but if you can snag it during a sale, do so because it’s so worth it.

This is a true brown and even though dark Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting isn’t like other dark browns which are black in appearance. It is long lasting also. It’s the only one I use both for my brows and lashes.
