Deeply moisturizing but very lightweight
This is a lightweight but very potent face moisturizer! It moisturizes thoroughly without leaving a greasy finish and has a pleasant scent !! The texture is light creamy, not heavy at all, it also works anti aging and helps smooth out fine lines! I absolutely love this company! Very high end quality and recommended by my Dermatologist!!

More hydrating than the Active Moist so perfect for me for winter/ dryer skin! Sometimes I have to use more of it if my skin is super dry, but I prefer this one to the other cylindrical super hydrating product from Dermalogica (that one is thicker and not as easy to apply).

I have eczema, and therefore dry — and relatively sensitive — skin, so I pretty much have to moisturize my face on a daily basis, and not just any product will do. Around eight years ago, I was struggling to find an appropriate moisturizer for my face, when I stumbled upon this one. It was so perfect that I stuck with it and didn’t look back for 7.5 years. And I couldn’t say a bad thing about it, aside from the hefty price value (which I was willing to suck up if it that’s what my skin needed). In fact, I would have given it five stars just half a year ago. But a few months ago, I went to the dermatologist for some eczema flare-ups, and she recommended that I try CeraVe Moisturizing Cream instead, just until we could sort out the issues. And wow, I thought Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream was good, but the CeraVe was even better! My skin just drinks up that CeraVe and feels so hydrated when using it. Unfortunately, I had JUST bought two new 3.4oz tubes of the Dermalogica product before the switchover, so I asked my dermatologist on a follow-up appointment if it was okay to use them. She read the ingredient list and said they should be fine (that product wasn’t the source of my eczema flare-ups), so I figured I’d finish them off before converting… But unbelievably, I realized I lost my love for the Dermalogica when trying it after the CeraVe. It just doesn’t compare! So much so that I have these two tubes of $60 Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream which may just go to waste. Crazy.Given that a 3.4oz tube of the Dermalogica product is like four times the cost of a 16oz tub of the CeraVe product (that’s like SIXTEEN TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE!!!) AND the fact that the CeraVe trumps the Dermalogica (in my opinion), not to mention the fact that the CeraVe comes recommended by my dermatologist, I’m afraid I am an official convert. Sorry, Dermalogica. You served me well for so long, but I’m on to something new.

Effective, non-greasy moisturizer
I love this cream because it’s not at all greasy on your face. It absorbs easily into your skin and softens it. It’s the same cream I previously bought locally at a salon. I bought the 5.1 oz bottle because it gives you 3x as much as the 1.7 oz bottle, but only cost twice as much. ($99,00 vs $49,00).

Makes my skin feel balanced and glowy
I’ve been using this moisturizer since attending esthetics school back in 2014, and I have not stopped. It’s my go-to moisturizer all year round. Yes, it’s very expensive but worth the money. It hydrates and moisturizes without making me oily. I have combination skin. It helps bring my skin into balance and enhances my glow. I’ve tried other moisturizers and while some give similar results, I always find myself turning back to this one. The consistency is perfect. My skin just feels healthy when I use it.

I’ve used this cream for many years, and I absolutely love it. Doesn’t make me feel greasy and helps me stay hydrated for the whole day.It is expensive.However, it is the only cream that has worked on my sensitive skin and do not get acne from it.FYI, do get the toner from the same brand that matches your skin type to get the full potential of this cream. It actually does work better and more efficiently.Delivery was fast and the product came undamaged/unused.
